Making Skiing Safe,Accessible and Joyful

Inspired by a child named Sunny, I wanted to help more autistic and neurodivergent children to experience the joy of skiing through accessible, adaptive ski lessons.

SunnyPath is a volunteer-powered nonprofit organization run by passionate high school student volunteers, with instruction provided by CSIA Level 2-certified instructors.

We respect every autistic and neurodivergent child's pace, comfort level, and sensory needs. We help them to build confidence, discover a sense of peace, develop new skills, and experience the freedom and joy of skiing.

Individualized Instruction Every kid learns differently. We adjust the pace, the style, and the goals to fit.

Free for Every Family Every lesson is provided at no cost. Everyone is welcome.

Where we started

Founded in 2024, based in the GTA.

Sunnypath started at Mount St. Louis Moonstone with a small group of volunteers and one goal: make skiing work for kids who need a different approach. We grew from there, and we're still growing.

What it feels like

Free coaching that stays personal, patient, and clear.

We work closely with families, autism organizations, and local ski hills to provide free, personalized coaching tailored to each child's needs and sensory profile. Our goal is simple: to help every child discover the joy of winter at their own pace on a mountain that feels safe, supportive, and fun.
